Pay Dirt - The Musical, played to a packed house today at the Kinglake Village.  The Play, written by Ross Buchanan and directed by Shirley Symons was given a standing ovation by all who attended.  The actors, Neil Cooke, Rowan Francis, Brent Fullerton, Tim Huggins, Brett Pollock and Kerry Wailes were outstanding with a witty, and sometimes poignant script accompanied by some fantastic songs played with gusto by the band.

Pay Dirt is a musical comedy set in the 1880's in a town called "Mountain Rush", now known as Kinglake, and is about some of the experiences of what it may have been like during Kinglake's short period of time as gold mining town.

The team behind Pay Dirt hope to take the show on the road around the Bushfire Affected Townships.  If you can assist in any sponsorship of this endeavour please contact the Editor and we will pass your details on
