Living With Adolescents
For transition to secondary school
It takes a lot of skill and patience to live with an adolescent and keep your cool.
Some people believe that they are a separate species that require secret knowledge and require us to
learn a new language.
Many parents cannot remember their own adolescence (or prefer to forget out of embarrassment).
There are a number of ways to reduce the stress of living with adolescents for both them and us.
Parents are invited to four evenings of information and discussion about improving our
relationships with our kids (we don’t have to be fighting with our kids to find this helpful).
These things apply especially as our kids start secondary school.
Facilitator: Marc des Landes
When: Thurs 16 February
Venue: RAC Building, Kinglake
Cost: FREE
To enrol: Phone Familycare on 5735 4600 during office hours
